Topic: Case Study: How Process Follows Product
About the topic: Large products can be created only by chopping them into smaller pieces to be worked on by separate teams. In this presentation I will share my observations in a product company of how the chosen architecture of the product influences the processes of four different teams. This affects both the processes of specific teams and processes between teams working on different parts of the product. Aim of the presentation is to illustrate the dynamics of the relation between product, organisation, and processes.
About the speaker: Through the years he has worked as developer, team lead, functional designer, consultant, tester, and Scrum Master. Since reading “The Mythical Man-Month” he has been fascinated by the process of software development. What can we change to get to better results? In his daily work, he enjoys working with others to identify and enact such changes.
As a personal project, he codes to translate the DevOps concept to the organisation of work.
